It’s no wonder running is among the world’s most popular sports because it’s free, requires no equipment(设备), and the scenery can be amazing.
A study, published in November 2019 in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, suggests running just once a week, or for 50 minutes a week, reduces the risk of death at a given point in time. The researchers from Victoria University in Australia found that the advantages don’t seem to increase or decrease(减少) with higher amounts of running.
